Rhyme of Light and Colours: Works of Eight Contemporary Abstract Artists

Rhyme of Light and Colours: Works of Eight Contemporary Abstract Artists

Dates: November 02-23, 2021

Venue: East Exhibition Hall, North Underwater Corridor, NCPA

“Rhyme of Light and Colours: Works of Eight Contemporary Abstract Artists” is the NCPA’s first visual art exhibition focusing on abstract art, aiming to present the beauty of rhythm lines both in music and the visual language of abstract art. The eight contemporary abstract artists in this exhibition have been working in the field for decades. Some of their works translate the artists’ experiences of life and emotions into a striking visual language; some of the artists experiment with various painting materials to discover inspiration brought about by special means, or exploring the beauty of nature and philosophy through the process of their own creations. Although their creative concepts vary, the interplay of colour and rhythm is a common and direct expression of the artists.
